This is a clarion call to shed the deceptions that have entangled too many in the folds of modern faith. Acts 8 tells us plainly: Simon tried to purchase the gift of God with money and was rebuked sternly. Why? Because the truth has been bought for us with a price far more precious—the blood of Jesus Christ, not cash or man-made clout. This ain’t about finessing a blessing or compounding wealth through sowing seeds of prosperity. This is about your soul, friend, and no earthly treasure can barter for what’s divine. If you’ve been led astray by the sweet-sounding yet soulless promises that whisper, “Give to get,” it’s time for a course correction.
In today’s world, too many false prophets hawk spiritual wares like snake oil salesmen, leaving faith impoverished while they grow fat on your finances. They practice a sorcery of their own—bewitching minds with flattery and false doctrines. But, beloved, you don't need a smoother talker or a flashier show. You need truth—Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. The call here is for discernment and repentance. Turn back to the pure, unadulterated Gospel that demands a heart of obedience rather than a wallet of offerings. This isn't a plea for pennies; it's a plea for purity and power—the Holy Ghost! God's gifts are freely given to the humble, not auctioned to the highest bidder. I tell you this with love because your eternal destiny hangs in the balance.

In "A Notable Miracle," we dive deep into the fire of the Book of Acts, where belief isn't just whispered in the pews but boldly declared in the streets. God performed a ""notable miracle"" through Peter and John, confronting the proud yet spiritually impotent leaders who couldn't deny what they witnessed—an unmistakable act of God that was as powerful as it was provoking. Don’t miss this: real faith stirs trouble with those clinging to dead traditions. This ain't about comfort; it’s about conviction. Are you living a life that others see and say, “That’s the Book of Acts in motion”? Because that's what God’s calling you to.
When the Holy Ghost moves, the world takes notice, and it will challenge the status quo. You can’t buy it, contain it, or explain it away with empty religion. As Peter declared with boldness, there is no other name under heaven but Jesus Christ. If that cuts, it's supposed to—it’s the cornerstone, and if you’re unhappy with it, it’s because you’re building on shifting sand. Friends, this is an earnest call to align with the truth, to carry a dangerous faith that breaks chains and flips the tables of false teaching. There's no neutral ground—walk in the way of His power, or be left empty and wanting. Get real with God and see the miracles unfold.

Here’s what you need to know: the Commission of the Apostles was no small task, and this study doesn’t pull punches about it. We find Peter and John, armed not with riches but with the mighty name of Jesus, setting the temple on fire with the true Gospel and a holy boldness. They’re confronting the well-worn paths of misguided tradition and laying down the path of obedience and togetherness. When Peter told that lame man to rise up and walk, he wasn’t selling a pep talk or prosperity sermon—he was wielding the very power of God. Friends, this is about repentance and being born again, because traditions and buildings alone won’t blot out your sins. If you haven’t stood face to face with your own pride and misplaced faith, now’s the time to repent so that your sins might be blotted out.
The old temple couldn’t do what needed doing, but through the Apostles’ doctrine, the truth started making waves. This ain’t feel-good theology—it’s Holy Ghost power calling for unity, purpose, and purpose-filled action. The apostles weren’t interested in how it used to be done; they were there to show what God was doing right now. If you’re tangled in sin or half-hearted worship, this study is your wake-up call. God didn’t inspire these scriptures for them to collect dust; they’re a mirror to check yourself and a blueprint to be right with Almighty God. Don't pick your comforts over conviction; don’t let want sway you over need. This is your invitation—get in line with the Word and let it shake the dust off your soul.

Saints, we must face the truth about The Commission of the Apostles. The early church didn’t thrive on lukewarm faith or twisted doctrine. It didn’t look to human inspiration but called for repentance, heart and soul. God seized and pricked the hearts of men, not with soft words but with the thunderous truth of His divine standard. That day, they cried, “What shall we do?” And Peter, firm in his commission, gave them the unflinching answer: repentance, baptism in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and the promised Holy Ghost. Ain’t no shortcuts, saints. If you’ve been wandering off, it's time to adjust course. God has laid it down plain and simple—get right with Him or risk losing all.
Listen, friends, the apostles were tested and trained by Jesus Himself. They stuck with their divine training, refusing to peddle a watered-down gospel. They preached repentance and born-again living—not out of convenience or financial gain, but because souls were at stake. The early church understood togetherness, knew the power of oneness, and didn't let possessions cloud their mission. They shared all they had, tearing down walls of division. What’s that tell you? We can’t get by with half-hearted, part-time Christianity. We must live this Gospel daily, denying the false truths of the world, and embracing sincere faith in Christ. Eternity is on the line, dear saints, and we ain’t promised tomorrow. Let's not just be hearers, but doers, building His kingdom with all we've got.

The Commission of the Apostles dives deep into Acts 1:1–20, where the risen Christ lays out His final instructions before ascending—and He doesn’t mince words. This wasn’t just a farewell; it was a charge to carry the Gospel with power, unity, and boldness. In this study, we explore how belief was solidified, betrayal was addressed, and preparation was made for the outpouring of the Holy Ghost.

God hasn’t changed—we have. The same God who poured out salvation in the book of Acts is still saving today the exact same way. But somewhere along the line, man got comfortable, soft, and sloppy—watering down the truth to fit feelings instead of faith. If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then who gave us the right to rewrite His requirements? Salvation isn’t up for revision. It’s not a suggestion—it’s a command. This is a wake-up call to return to the old pathway. Heaven hasn’t moved the goalpost. It’s time we stop shifting the standard and start obeying the truth.

Remember PEMDAS from math class? Just like math has an order of operations, God does too—and He doesn’t skip steps. He commands that everything be done “decently and in order,” especially when it comes to how His messages are delivered. When it comes down to hearing His instruction, we’d better follow His pattern, not our own preferences. This study unpacks how God sets things in motion.

Too many are banking their salvation on a half-quoted verse. John 3:15–16 is powerful and true, but belief in Jesus isn’t just words—it’s a lifestyle. If you truly believe, then your life would show it. Belief that doesn’t lead to obedience is just lip service. It’s time to stop settling for a feel-good version of the Gospel and start walking in the full weight of what it means to believe in Jesus.

In Part 2 of this foundational study, we continue laying the groundwork for true salvation. There’s more to the basics than most realize—and skipping over them leads to shaky faith. We’re taking our time, precept upon precept, to make sure every piece is in place. Before we build up, we’re making sure the base is unshakable. Let’s keep digging until the foundation is solid enough to stand the weight of everything God has planned.
